Thick as Thieves - REVIEW THIS STORY

Chapter 1 Bobby Drake stepped out of Che Merrin, hoping he didn't look as much like a loser as he felt... Chapter 2 For a week he'd debated what to do. Tell the Professor that Gambit was up to something or not... Chapter 3 "I am impressed," Storm said as Bobby restored his human form... Chapter 4 Quietly, Bobby stood in the doorway to the X-Men's laboratory and watched his best friend work... Chapter 5 Bobby fidgeted outside the closed door, trying to convince himself to go in... Chapter 6 Over aeons, ice crept across the planet... Chapter 7 Bobby adjusted the bowtie at his throat one more time and tried to ignore Gambit... Chapter 8 "Non, non. Y' can' force it, comprehende? Y' gotta be gentle, an' delicate... Chapter 9 Jean Gray Summers sighed to herself and raised a hand to scratch her forehead... Chapter 10 With a thunderous sneeze, the bodyguard began to shiver, trying to stay warm in his thick coat, scarf... Chapter 11 Bobby settled into his seat with a sigh. It was only ten o'clock, and already it had been a long night... Chapter 12 Smiling, Bobby admired himself in a mirror... Chapter 13 What are you doing, Bobby? Remy is going to kill you if he finds out about this... Chapter 14 "Okay, lift and turn and kick and stretch..... Chapter 15 Bobby leaned back against the cool brick of the storefront, waiting patiently... Chapter 16 Quietly, Remy walked down the sidewalk, his hands in his pockets and his head down against the falling rain... Chapter 17 Bobby hummed to himself as he watched the saleslady wrap up the yellow dress... Chapter 18 Remy LeBeau raced his neon yellow ferrari down the road at breakneck speed... Chapter 19 Bobby slouched in his chair at the corner of the kitchen table, quietly munching on a piece of toast... Chapter 20 Bobby walked down the sidewalk to Diedre's apartment, his heart pounding in his chest... Chapter 21 Time froze. Bobby stared at Michael in mute horror... Chapter 22 As a street smart punk growing up in the gutters of New Orleans, Remy LeBeau had learned that if you killed... Chapter 23 Bobby heard the distinctive whine of the Blackbird engines with a sense of overwhelming relief... Chapter 24 Bobby was exhausted by the time they reached the women's wing... |
