Chapter 5

It feels like an age since I last posted, and unfortunately I'm not sure when the next instalment will be released. Due to the overwhelming workload I have at the moment (2 part time jobs, coaching and judging archery and most importantly my post-grad studies), I'm only getting about 3-5 hrs of sleep per night as it is. I simply do not have time to write. I wish I did and feel horrible leaving this here, but I promise that I will finish this story and write the sequels. It just might take some time. I'm sorry to anyone who is enjoying this fic. I have also updated chapters 1 and 2 to include Rogue's accent and correct all the horrific spelling and grammar errors. Thank you again to both my betas for the help in this regard. A special thanks to Kitty for her help with Rogue's accent. Oh, I've changed my email address to [email protected]. Author's Notes: This fic is set in a comic-based AU, which breaks off continuity after Rogue powers began to play up (I started writing this after reading X-men 109, but am ignoring the events of that issue, if that helps any)., but I'm ignoring the whole Destiny's diary thing (if I do use it later on, only the logical people will go in search of them i.e. Rogue, and most probably Remy and not an entire group of people (although Xtreme has turned out better than I expected)).
